NASHVILLEOlive, a four-year-old Golden Retriever from Nashville, has identified what may be the great injustice of modern life: the existence of weekdays. Why, she seems to ask with those soulful golden eyes, must there be any day that isn't a weekend?

"Every single day could be a weekend," Olive's posture seems to say, a sentiment her housemate Willow heartily endorses

The logic is airtight. Weekends mean long walks, pup cups at the local coffee shop, backyard adventures, and—most crucially—the occasional toddler snack dropped by her favorite human, Willow. But Monday through Friday? That's when mom has to work, leaving Olive to daycare or, even worse, napping while the house sits empty.

"Every single day could be a weekend," Olive's posture seems to say, a sentiment her housemate Willow heartily endorses. After all, when you're a dog (or a toddler), the math checks out perfectly: more time together equals maximum joy.

For now, Olive will have to settle for the weekends she gets—and perhaps dropping increasingly persuasive hints about the merits of a four-day work week.
