NASHVILLEBeckham's paws pressed against the car window as the Nashville Symphony's loading dock came into view. The six-year-old Bernedoodle's ears perked forward, his nose working double-time—all the telltale signs of pre-concert anxiety mixing with pure adrenaline.

The nerves were real—visible in the set of his jaw, the tilt of his head as he gazed out at the building

"He's been stretching his paws all morning, like he's trying to work through every note in his head," Ollie observed from the front seat. It's the kind of dedication only a true musician understands. Beckham's dark coat gleamed under the rehearsal lights filtering through the windshield as the car rolled slowly toward the backstage area, each wheel turn bringing him closer to his moment.

The nerves were real—visible in the set of his jaw, the tilt of his head as he gazed out at the building. But there was something else there too: readiness. Concentration. The look of a performer who'd rehearsed every note, every paw movement, every breath.

Tonight, the stage would be waiting. For now, Beckham rode in that calm before the crescendo, paws extended, ready to pour his heart into the keys—or at least into understanding how his people would.
